Born: 29 December 1977.

Education: University of Washington, Seattle, 2007, LL.M, University of Iceland 2002, Cand. Jur. Law Degree, studied Company Law at at the University of Copenhagen in 2001.

Grimur was admitted to the bar as a District Court Attorney in 2003 and as a Supreme Court Attorney in 2008.

Career: Attorney at Landslog from 2002.

Other activities: Reserve member of the Disciplinary Committee of the Icelandic Bar Association from 2011. Reserve member of the Appellate Committee of Gender Equality from 2011. Chairman of the board of Codex 2007-2009.

Teaching and research: Grimur has lectured at Reykjavik’s University and University of Iceland. He has written legal articles for law reviews.
